Danilo Eterovic - Director of Soccer.

The Sterling Soccer Club is extremely proud to announce the addition of Danilo Eterovic as the new Director of Soccer. In this role, Danilo will have the responsibility to direct all travel and recreational soccer programs, the professional development of our coaches, and the growth of our players.

Danilo is a former player of the Bolivian national soccer team and various professional teams in Bolivia. He competed in the national league and at international championships. After completing a successful soccer player career, Danilo started his coaching career.

In his most recent position as the Sports Director for Alianza FC in Bolivia, he is recognized as one of the most established, well-known, and experienced youth coaches in his native country and abroad. Danilo brings to our club extensive South American and European soccer experience in roles at some of the highest youth levels. Some of his most notable accomplishments as a professional player, coach, and instructor include:

  • Former Professional Player and National Team of Bolivia Player
  • Former National Team of Bolivia U-23, U-20, U17
  • Head Coach of Bolivia National Team U12, competing international in South America and Europe.
  • Head Coach of Cochabamba's National Soccer Team U15
  • Special Soccer Instructor for the Bolivian Soccer Federation
  • Director and President of multiple youth soccer Clubs in Bolivia
  • Professional Coaching License in Bolivia
  • FIFA Young Football and Grass Roots Coaching License-German Soccer Federation DFB
  • National Higher School of Soccer A.N.S.F License studies: C - B – A,
  • International Couching Course License Graduate "GRASROOTS AND YOUTH FOOTBALL
  • Physical Training Licenses and many other Licenses related to Soccer safety, agility, tactical and technical development.

A key attribute that he takes pride in is enabling players to develop to their fullest potential, making teams successful through a unified and consistent training methodology across multiple age groups. Danilo also brings deep expertise in structuring and implementing a Soccer Curriculum that is consistent and applicable at various age groups, and the development of training plans and training lessons used by coaches and trainers in an academy style training to ensure the needs of every team and player are addressed. This experience helps players find the pathway that best suits their soccer goals.

Having Danilo join our club is an outstanding progression that will allow our Club implement our mission and goals to manage Sterling Soccer Club in similar method as European and South American Soccer Academies. This will be achieved by implementing a Soccer Curriculum that provides consistent training to both Coaches as well as players with the strategic focus on the development of the rudimentary soccer skills and teaching a combination of the European style of play based on simplifying the game combined with the South American style of play based on individual skill and flare. Our primary focus is to develop a cohesive player development program that ultimately supports our primary mission of creating an unrivaled youth soccer experience for our community.

We are beyond excited for what Danilo will bring to our players, coaches, and families in terms of quality perspectives and ideas that will ensure we are always progressing towards our vision. We look forward to introducing Danilo to our Sterling Soccer family and are confident that, as you get to know him, you will agree with us that he is the right person to move our club forward in developing and implementing our Soccer Curriculum with our volunteer coaches, paid coaches and all of our soccer players.

Danilo is fluent in English and Spanish and looks forward to meeting the Sterling coaches, players, and families on the field when he begins his career with the Sterling Soccer Club in May 2022.
