STERLING SOCCER CLUB ALL-STARS

The Sterling Soccer All-Stars program is an extension of the recreational league program and provides selected players from the U8 to U19 age group the opportunity to play at a more competitive level in an All-Star tournament at the end of each fall and spring season.

TRY OUT! When All-Star season starts, we highly encourage all of our recreation players to try out for an All-Stars in their respective age groups. Playing in All-stars will gain invaluable playing experience and also have a chance to go against talented All-Stars teams and players from across Northern Virginia.

FPYC FATHER'S DAYS ALL-STARS

GENERAL INFORMATION

The FPYC (Fairfax Police Youth Club) Father's Day All-Stars tournament is open to all boys and girls recreational and recreational All-Star teams from the Spring season (No travel teams or players, and no guest players). 

DATE: The tournament is held annually and takes place on the second week of June.

The Father's Day All-Star Tournament includes:

  • Four games for U8s (no standings kept)
  • Three preliminary games for each team in U9 to U19
  • Championship game for each division in U9 to U19
  • Divisions in each age group are based on competition levels (self-reported)
  • SFL teams ranked based on their season standings.
  • All fields are in the City of Fairfax and Fairfax County - many artificial turf.

HERNDON SOCCER - ALL-STAR CUP

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Herndon Youth Soccer Club All Stars tournament is held every November at selected Fairfax county locations.  Please visit the tournament website for more information.

DATES: The tournament is held annually every November, usually on the second weekend.

Each team in the U8 age groups will play 7 mini games (25 minutes) in a round robin format.  No standings will be kept for the U8 teams.  Each player on the U8 teams will receive a special participation award.  No trophies will be awarded in this age group.
 
Each team in the U9-U19 age groups will play a qualification round consisting of four 25-minute games.  At the end of each game the winning and losing teams will be awarded game points.  The game points will be used to seed the teams for the championship rounds.  All teams will proceed to the championship round on Sunday, consisting of 50 or 60 minute games.   

At the conclusion of the championship rounds in the U9-U19 age groups, awards will be provided to the players for both division champions and finalists.

Teams are limited to 8 players in the U8 age group, 14 players in the U9-U10 age group, 16 players in the U11-U12 age group and 18 players in the U13-U19 age groups.

ALL-STARS TEAM TRYOUTS

Once the All-Stars coaches have all registered, and teams are selected, tryouts will be announced. 

The club administrator will send out email to all of our members with the coaches' contact information, tryout dates and times.

TRYOUT DATES:
For the spring season, expect tryouts to be held around late May to early June. In the fall, tryouts are from late September to early November. Most tryouts will be held during the week depending on the coaches' availability. Some are held on the weekends.

Qualifications:

  • All currently-registered Sterling Soccer Club recreational players are eligible to play if selected.
  • The Sterling player must be registered for the spring or fall season when the tournament is held.
  • Registered travel players are not allowed to participate in these recreation-oriented tournaments.
